你的句子可以改成
The house my parents had planned to sell was at last sold last month.
但不可以改成你说的那样
因为被计画卖的是house 不是my parents...   希望有帮上你

为什么要写成
The house my parents had been planning to sell was at last sold last month.
写成
The house my parents had planned to sell was at last sold last month.
不是更符合过去分词的句型吗

那么依据过去分词的句型:had+过去分词写成The house my parents had been planned to sell was at last sold last month.
为什么不行

◎一个句子中　强调先后顺序
先发生的事用过去完成式(had+Vpp)
后发生的则用过去式.

※The house my parents had been planning to sell was at last sold last month.

过去完成进行式：had been +Ving
使用"过去完成"：因为"计划售出"此事发生于"售出"之前
然后加上"进行式"的用法：则表示强调动作的持续及延续

※The house my parents had planned to sell was at last sold last month.
过去完成式：had planned

◎The house my parents had been planned to sell was at last sold last month.
为什么不行?
The house (my parents had been planned to sell) was at last sold last month.
        s                我父母被计划卖 (文意上错误)           v
The house (which had been planned to sell by my parents) was at last sold last month.
        s                                                                                 v
      被我父母计划卖的房子(文意上才对)

◎过去完成式(Past perfect)
had+Vpp
had译成：已经、曾经、曾~过
强调先后~ 一个句子中，先者用过去完成式：had+Vpp， 后者用过去式。
ex: I had watched TV before you came.
      我已经在看电视,在你来前。 

◎过去完成进行式(Past perfect progressive)
had been +Ving
had译成：已经、一直、一直在、一直都在
强调持续动作的进行中~
持续发生在过去一段时间的事，先者用过去完成进行式: had been +Ving，后者亦是用过去式。
ex：I had been watching TV for an hour when you came.
       我一直看电视一小时了,在你来时。       

由上可知：您问的以下两句都合文法，但在文意上小有不同。
※The house my parents had planned to sell was at last sold last month.
我父母已经计划（曾计划过）要卖的房子终于在上个月卖出。 

※The house my parents had been planning to sell was at last sold last month.
我父母已经计划（一直在计划）要卖的房子终于在上个月卖出。  

而用 [ 过去完成进行式 ] 会更传神，
更能表达 认真辛苦卖房子 的感觉。
因为 父母一直不断地 " 正在计划卖房子  " 。  

（任何形式的 [ 进行式 ] 都是在强调做这件事情的 "动作 "
相较于任何形式的 [ 简单式 ] 就只是在叙述一件事而已。
所以才会说 在你的这个句子中,，用 [ 过去完成进行式 ] 会更传神!!）
