Some new CPUs consume almost zero wattages when the system is first turned on. And this is why some 2.2 spec PSUs might not power up the system. With Spec 2.3 PSUs the 12V CPU load requirement has been reduced to resolve this issue.

Yea, some 2.2 spec PSUs are really efficient. Intel's 2.2 spec only recommends a 75%+ efficiency for the 2.2 spec though. The 2.3 spec however recommends a 80%+ efficiency. If you getting a new PSU get one that's 80 PLUS certified.

2/3 : 20-pin ATX / 24 pins (Extented ATX)
以前Power 是 20Pin的,後來CPU "需求無度"
因此增加到24Pin供應電源,所以舊的主機板20pin
後來一點的主機板,為了相容增加4pin接頭,讓20pin
的Power可以用,現在都是24Pin的power了................
