You cannot download the new version from redhat now … they shift to enterprise field after version 9, you have to buy it or compile the source yourself ... too bad. That’s why they sponsor /open the fedora project which is free for public. Also, you can directly buy it online through redhat.com. They have provided different service support plan (including installation materials) for you.

You may find a lot of new features / packages in the fedora, those features / packages will be used in redhat enterprise if it is suitable and stable. It means it is a 白老鼠 for experiment … ha ha …

Actually, you can choose the following linux instead:

1.      centos - http://www.centos.org/
2.      whitebox - http://www.whiteboxlinux.org/

Both are based on redhat enterprise source and remove the redhat trademarks and logos.
They are very stable too.
