Sendmail問題

大家好,
我在SCO Unix下架了sendmail ver 8.8.5
只開放給内部網路的user使用
現在發現User連到sendmail很慢
但只要連線建立後其實寄信的速度是很快的
請問各位大大知道是什麼原因嗎??如何解決??

Server本身的nslookup正常ㄚ

easier way is to use IP in the pop server instead of host name
or
try to add server host name into windows host file - %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
look like this:
# email server
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx     server_name

I am always to use IP in the pop server instead of host name .
But the problem is still not fixed.
I think it is server problem not client.

It may caused by ident protocol.
You can change the value in sendmail config file - sendmail.cf

Timeout.ident=1s (even change to 0s)

Remember to recompile the sendmail.cf and restart sendmail daemon.
Hope this can help.
