Boot your system to the startup disk, and at the selector prompt, start the system with CD ROM support. This will automatically load the ASPI manager drivers for Adaptec branded hosts. If you do not have an Adaptec host or Windows 98 Second Edition (or Windows Me) startup disk follow the instructions below - Prepare a DOS 6.22 or Windows 95/98 bootable diskette and copy the HIMEM.SYS file to the diskette (HIMEM.SYS is required if you are testing a SCSI drive). The HIMEM.SYS file will be found in the default directory where your operating system was installed on your hard drive (typically either the DOS or WINDOWS directory). Copy the QDPSSCSI.EXE utility to the diskette and be sure to copy the host adapter's DOS ASPI driver to the diskette as well. Reboot your system using the diskette. Be sure to load the host adapter's DOS ASPI driver and HIMEM.SYS driver via the CONFIG.SYS file. For example, if you are using an Adaptec 2940UW card you would use the ASPI8DOS.SYS driver with the following entries in the CONFIG.SYS file: DEVICE=A:\HIMEM.SYS DEVICE=A:\ASPI8DOS.SYS At the A: prompt, type QDPSSCSI and then [ENTER]. You will be presented with a licensing agreement. After acceptance of the licensing agreement, the utility will begin running. If you DO NOT accept the licensing agreement, you will be returned to the A: prompt. If your system has only one drive, the utility will begin immediately. If your system has more than one drive installed, you will be presented with a menu of available drives. To select a drive to test, enter its number and the test will begin. 曾經花很長一段時間在研究硬碟，所以有一些有用過，MAXTOR的不錯用有救過幾棵硬碟．其它的．．没幫上我，不迥還有很多我不知道的，我來用看看，謝謝這位大大囉．
